About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential publishing house in Munich seeking a Publishing Production / Communications Design Trainee (Volontär) for a 12-18 month traineeship program. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in premium book production within a creative environment.
We are looking for candidates who can start by arrangement and are passionate about editorial design and print production.
Responsibilities
- Learn the complete workflow of high-quality book production from concept to finished product
- Collaborate with graphic designers, lithographers, and print partners throughout the production process
- Master the technical implementation of book products, including design, typesetting, and print data preparation
- Work on layouts using InDesign and Illustrator, designing content for publication
- Contribute to digital platforms and social media communication
- Edit and process images using Photoshop
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Communications Design, Media Design, or comparable qualification
- Previous practical experience in publishing, media, or social media platforms is advantageous
- Good English language skills
- Ability to work constructively within a team as well as independently and with initiative
- Passion for book products and strong digital affinity
- Strong organizational skills and creativity

Pay and Benefits
