About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst at Equus, you'll be the critical bridge between our business stakeholders and our technology team. You'll work remotely to understand organizational requirements, analyze how our current systems and processes operate, and recommend technology improvements that drive measurable business value. What You'll Do

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business teams to understand their needs, challenges, and desired outcomes
• Analyze existing business processes and identify inefficiencies where technology could deliver improvement
• Document business requirements and create clear specifications for our IT teams
• Evaluate potential technology solutions and present recommendations that balance capability, cost, and strategic fit
• Act as the primary point of contact between business departments and IT, ensuring requirements stay clear throughout implementation
• Support system testing and validation to confirm that deployed solutions meet the original business objectives
• Assist end-users with training and change management as new systems and processes are introduced

Requirements

• Proven experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT operations
