Senior Partnership Manager, Higher Education

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential higher education technology organization that trains tens of thousands of college students annually across hundreds of universities. Our client has built strong partnerships with major technology companies and is scaling rapidly to meet the demands of workforce transformation.

We are seeking a Senior Partnership Manager, Higher Education to own the growth and health of an established network of 50+ campus partners. This is a remote, full-time position based in the USA with limited travel to partner institutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive expansion within existing university partners, moving from single-course pilots to full-department adoption across elective and required curriculum
• Build and mobilize faculty champions and department chairs who advocate for deeper integration into computer science programs
• Own renewal processes and maintain high engagement across all partner accounts each academic term
• Develop relationships across the campus ecosystem including faculty, department chairs, deans, and administrators
• Monitor partnership health metrics, identify churn risks early, and proactively address concerns before accounts disengage
• Partner with internal operations teams to ensure smooth program implementation and delivery
• Establish data-driven partnership tracking systems across the full partnership lifecycle
• Provide leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health, risks, and growth opportunities
• Make compelling cases for curriculum adoption to technical faculty audiences, emphasizing program rigor and student outcomes

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, partnerships, or sales engineering
• Deep knowledge of higher education ecosystems, institutional structures, decision-making processes, and campus dynamics
• Technical depth sufficient to discuss computer science curriculum credibly with CS faculty
• Strong analytical skills—ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and clear narratives
• Proven relationship-building abilities across diverse institutional stakeholders
• Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and coordinating across internal teams
• Daily use of AI tools to enhance productivity and work quality
• Commitment to advancing economic mobility through education

Preferred qualifications:

• Direct experience working with faculty, particularly in computer science or STEM departments
• Understanding of course credit approval processes, curriculum committee review, and mechanisms like credit for prior learning
• Computer science degree and/or software engineering background

Pay

Our client offers a standardized salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 annually for this Senior Manager level position, determined by relevant experience and skills evaluated during the interview process. This is a salaried role without commission or variable compensation. The position includes comprehensive benefits covering health insurance, 401(k), generous PTO, parental leave, professional development stipends, and qualification for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
