About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential medical technology organization in a high-impact sales role. As a Business Development Representative focused on digital pathology solutions, you'll drive growth across the Northeast US region, working with clinical laboratories and hospital systems to expand market share in one of the most strategic segments of diagnostic technology.
This is a remote field sales position ideally based in the Greater Boston area, supporting the broader Northeast territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for your assigned territory
- Develop and execute sales strategies that drive rapid revenue growth and market penetration
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across clinical and research laboratory accounts
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into product solutions and demonstrations
- Coordinate product demonstrations, installations, and customer training with technical teams
- Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation through closing
- Collaborate with marketing on new product launches and commercialization efforts
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and customer data in Salesforce
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory requirements in digital pathology
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience in clinical or research laboratory settings
- 2+ years of experience in the digital pathology industry strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex laboratory workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-directed work style with ability to operate independently in field and laboratory environments
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory
- Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce

Pay
The hiring range for this position is $132,750–$150,000 base salary, plus eligibility for annual discretionary bonus. Our client also offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay.
