About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential regulatory services organization in their search for a Business Development Manager based in Canada. This is a remote, full-time role focused on driving new business acquisition and revenue expansion across Canadian markets.

Our client operates at the intersection of regulatory compliance and consumer safety, serving industries including pest management, food and beverage, medical devices, and cosmetics. This is a high-impact position with significant ownership over sales strategy and the opportunity to build scalable growth programs from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, consistently exceeding revenue targets through consultative, value-based selling
  • Expand revenue within existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives
  • Lead outbound prospecting programs and sequencing strategies to generate and convert qualified opportunities
  • Develop and optimize sales processes, tools, and CRM workflows to improve efficiency and support scalable growth
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing and leadership to define target segments, refine messaging, and execute integrated campaigns
  • Manage a blended pipeline of inbound leads and existing accounts, identifying opportunities for strategic expansion

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Proven success in prospecting, cold outreach, and closing net-new business
  • Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling
  • Deep expertise in consultative sales methodologies, with experience leveraging frameworks such as MEDDICC or similar to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Hands-on experience with modern sales engagement and sequencing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft)
  • Data-driven approach to pipeline management and sales performance

Preferred:

  • Experience selling regulatory, compliance, or technical solutions
  • Background in product safety, regulatory affairs, or laboratory services
  • Familiarity with industries such as food and beverage, medical devices, cosmetics, or pest management

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $90,000–$100,000 CAD base salary plus uncapped commission structure.
