Network Recruitment and Development Specialist

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential behavioral health organization in their search for a Network Recruitment and Development Specialist. Our client operates a large specialty provider network and is seeking someone passionate about building strong provider relationships and expanding network capabilities across the United States.

This is a full-time remote position (40 hours per week) reporting to the Vice President of Provider Relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, expand, and maintain a PPO network including new provider identification, solicitation, and rate negotiation while adhering to established fee schedules
• Coordinate rate negotiations with leadership and finance teams
• Conduct provider orientations, including individual and regional training sessions
• Serve as liaison between treatment providers, clients, patients, and internal teams to resolve issues on a timely basis
• Support clinical operations in provider connections and case-specific problem-solving
• Assist in preparation of proposals and client contract support services
• Maintain corporate policies and procedures; recommend improvements to contracts, forms, and rates as appropriate
• Participate in ongoing marketing and provider relations efforts, special projects, and research initiatives
• Track competitive intelligence, regional provider rates, and industry trends; make recommendations on product enhancements
• Prepare reports and attend meetings as requested

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Three years of provider relations experience required, preferably in a PPO, HMO, or similar managed care environment
• Experience with fiscal issues, rate negotiations, and contractual terms
• Familiarity with case management and utilization review functions
• Proficiency with computerized applications including Word, Access, and internet-based tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to perform extensive telephone work
• Professional presentation skills
• Self-starter with a cooperative, assertive, and goal-oriented attitude
• Experience in mental health field and public relations preferred
• Experience in group presentations and speaking preferred
• Experience serving business and industry clients preferable
