The Opportunity
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an experienced Saw Operator Level 2 to support production at our North Brunswick Township facility. In this role, you'll operate and maintain cutting equipment that's essential to our manufacturing process, contributing to the quality and efficiency of our output. Your experience and attention to detail will help ensure our products meet exacting standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate various saw equipment according to specifications and safety protocols
- Set up machines, adjust cutting parameters, and inspect finished cuts for accuracy
- Monitor production output and perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment
- Maintain accurate records of production and any equipment issues
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Follow all facility safety procedures and report hazards or concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience operating saws or similar cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints, measurements, and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and operate equipment safely
