Business Systems Support Analyst

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential environmental services organization seeking a Business Systems Support Analyst to join their Oracle applications team. This remote role requires Arizona residency at time of hire.

You'll serve as the critical bridge between business operations and Oracle technology teams, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Oracle applications that support essential business functions across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle application support and incident resolution, prioritizing requests and driving issues through the full lifecycle from intake and triage to root cause analysis and resolution
• Facilitate system enhancement requests and coordinate applicable enhancement release schedules with product owners and stakeholders
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to resolve operational issues, manage escalations, and ensure service level commitments are met
• Coordinate the process of obtaining functional requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts utilizing elicitation techniques
• Create detailed documentation of user requirements and partner with development teams to document both functional and non-functional specifications
• Analyze support trends, monitor system performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance application reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency
• Support quality assurance and control efforts using data analysis/profiling as part of pre- and post-implementation reviews
• Provide support to functional and user acceptance testing groups throughout the development lifecycle
• Manage status reporting, knowledge transfer, and implementation plans for software solutions being developed
• Build and maintain relationships with software application vendors and implementation partners

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role
• Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis
• Strong understanding of Oracle application ecosystems and support methodologies
• Proven ability to analyze business needs and recommend system solutions or procedures
• Experience serving as liaison between business units and IT departments
• Track record of performing research and analysis to determine project feasibility
• Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification preferred
• Must reside in Arizona at time of hire for this remote position
