About This Role
We are representing a confidential intelligence technology client in their search for a Staff Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. This role combines investigative tradecraft with analytical leadership, supporting both time-sensitive investigations and the development of scalable intelligence capabilities. You will work at the intersection of cyber threat analysis, infrastructure attribution, and blockchain-enabled investigations.
Our client serves public and private sector organizations working to disrupt threat activity. This position requires demonstrated analytical leadership, deep investigative expertise, and the ability to shape how intelligence teams operate at scale.
Responsibilities
- Produce finished cyber threat intelligence products including actor profiles, campaign reports, IOC packages, infrastructure attributions, and evidence-ready analytical outputs
- Lead high-complexity investigations from initial indicators (domains, IPs, hashes, aliases, wallets) through to attributed actors, clusters, or campaign pictures
- Correlate technical indicators with OSINT, identity signals, infrastructure patterns, and financial-rail activity to build comprehensive adversary pictures
- Triage large indicator sets, cluster infrastructure, and transform fragmented signals into clear, defensible findings
- Support incident responders, threat hunters, investigators, and external partners with timely, high-confidence intelligence products and briefings
- Act as a staff-level analytical leader across multiple active campaigns, raising quality standards and coaching other analysts through exemplary tradecraft
- Drive improvements to investigation workflows, analytic standards, and repeatable methods that increase throughput without sacrificing rigor
- Evaluate and operationalize new analytical tooling by pressure-testing it on real workflows
- Partner across intelligence, engineering, and data science teams to translate investigative tradecraft into scalable analytical capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, intelligence analysis, incident-driven investigations, or closely related analytical field
- Demonstrated experience producing finished intelligence products such as actor profiles, campaign reports, attribution assessments, or infrastructure mapping
- Deep expertise in cyber investigations, infrastructure attribution, campaign analysis, and actor profiling
- Strong OSINT capabilities and the ability to resolve identities, aliases, and behavior across fragmented sources
- Ability to connect technical findings to financial infrastructure, including wallets, laundering paths, sanctions exposure, or identity-linked leads when relevant
- Excellent judgment about analytical confidence, evidentiary strength, and what can be defended in operational settings
- Track record of leading complex investigations, improving workflows, shaping analytical standards, and raising quality beyond your own cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort operating in fast-paced environments where priorities change quickly and ambiguity is normal
- AI fluency required — AI tools must be a meaningful part of your research, synthesis, and workflow acceleration toolkit, with strong quality control over outputs
Work Environment: Distributed team with async-first approach via Slack and documentation tools. Weekly team syncs, daily async standups. Primary time zone overlap: US Eastern/Central. Surge availability expected during time-sensitive disruption windows. UK and USA locations supported.
