About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that is building next-generation workplace productivity software. They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to shape company-level product strategy and drive the most consequential product decisions at the intersection of collaboration software and AI.
This is a remote position based in the USA. Our client is an AI-native company where every team member leverages AI daily as a core part of their workflow.
Responsibilities
- Shape product direction at the company level, owning the hardest and most consequential product questions the organization faces
- Define multi-year product strategy for workplace productivity and AI-powered collaboration tools
- Build functional prototypes to prove strategic concepts, making strategy concrete rather than theoretical
- Synthesize data, customer escalations, usage trends, and market signals into clear direction on where to invest and where to win
- Set operational standards for how product managers across the function work, establishing patterns that accelerate the entire team
- Advise executive leadership on product strategy, major investments, and company-level product bets
- Represent the product vision externally with key customers, analysts, and the broader product community when appropriate
- Identify gaps in product thinking and build frameworks to address them systematically
What We're Looking For
- 8-10+ years in product management with demonstrated experience operating at company-shaping scope in high-growth B2B SaaS environments
- Deep experience owning ambiguous, high-stakes product decisions with no obvious answers
- Exceptional ability to synthesize competing inputs—customer signals, business constraints, technical realities—into clear direction
- Proven ability to build and evangelize product vision that earns trust across engineering, design, and executive teams
- Track record of elevating the craft of product managers around you, not just delivering individual output
- Fluency with data and metrics at the company level, including knowing when data is incomplete or misleading
- Deep proficiency with AI tooling for product work—not experimenting, but actively building and setting the standard
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to make complex arguments clear to any audience
AI Proficiency Requirements:
- Generate artifacts using AI to accelerate alignment: PRDs, user flows, launch readiness assessments, research synthesis, competitive analyses, and release notes
- Prototype and iterate independently using AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code
- QA your own work using browser automation tools to test flows and verify edge cases
- Stay current with AI capabilities and actively fold new tools into your workflow
