Senior DevOps Engineer

About This Opportunity

Our recruiting team at Get A Job.ai is representing a rapidly scaling European fintech organization in their search for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Developer Experience (DevX) squad. This confidential client operates across 10 European markets and is focused on building the foundational infrastructure and tooling that empowers their entire engineering organization to scale reliably.

You'll join a dedicated team focused on eliminating friction from development through to production, building and optimizing delivery systems, local development environments, and CI/CD automation. This role is based in Paris or fully remote within France.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows, ensuring fast feedback loops and secure deployments
• Build and evolve the local developer experience, making it seamless for engineers to spin up, test, and debug services locally across multiple languages and frameworks
• Own and maintain cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Participate in identifying and solving infrastructure-related production issues and performance troubleshooting
• Act as a technical referent for product engineering teams on delivery and infrastructure best practices
• Evaluate, benchmark, and prototype emerging technologies to continuously improve toolsets and promote a culture of learning
• Work with a polyglot stack including Python, TypeScript, PHP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GCP, Postgres, and Datadog

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Proven ability to take ownership of cross-functional infrastructure initiatives and drive complex projects from design to delivery
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines end to end (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience building robust automation pipelines and modernizing local development environments
• Fluent in French (primary working language) with good English proficiency for documentation and technical communication

Preferred qualifications:

• Production-grade proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, or equivalent)
• Experience with local development environment tooling (Nix, mise, asdf, devenv, devcontainers, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or PHP
