(Senior) Project Manager (m/w/d) – Rooftop PV Systems (Emobility & BESS)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager to lead rooftop photovoltaic installations combined with battery storage and electric mobility infrastructure.

In this role, you will own the technical delivery of solar projects from planning through customer handover:

• Lead technical implementation of rooftop PV systems (500+ kWp) with battery energy storage and EV charging integration
• Manage project execution from design through construction, commissioning, and internal handover to operations teams
• Coordinate health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project activities
• Ensure project milestones for schedule, quality, and documentation are achieved
• Control and optimize project budgets throughout the lifecycle
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery
• Present project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Degree in engineering (electrical, energy systems, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience
• Proven project management experience in industrial-scale installations, ideally with rooftop solar systems above 500 kWp
• Knowledge of grid integration requirements for renewable energy systems
• Experience with EPC contracts, customer acceptance processes, system certifications, and commissioning procedures for solar installations
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Valid Class B driver's license
