Werkstudent Projektentwicklung (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a working student to support project development activities. In this role, you will contribute to the advancement of wind and solar energy initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in the clean energy sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting research on planning law, permitting requirements, and project-specific regulatory questions
• Supporting the development of wind energy and photovoltaic projects from concept through execution
• Assisting with the identification and evaluation of suitable sites and development of location concepts
• Helping coordinate internal and external project participants, technical consultants, planning offices, and other service providers
• Preparing documentation and presentations for municipalities, authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders
• Supporting project documentation and progress tracking
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and standards

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program and brings the following qualifications:

• Active enrollment in Natural Sciences, Spatial Planning, Geography, Renewable Energy, or a comparable field of study
• Prior practical experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Genuine interest in renewable energy and wind energy projects
• Independent and structured work approach with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document results clearly and discuss them effectively within a team
• Proficient use of standard MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Initial experience with GIS software is a plus
• German language skills at native level (C2 according to CEFR) and good English proficiency in speaking and writing
• Availability for at least 12 months and a minimum of 13 hours per week with flexible scheduling
