Responsibilities

We are representing a mid-sized organization in the Greifswald region seeking an IT Department Head to lead their technology operations. In this role, you will:

• Provide technical and personnel leadership for a small IT team
• Advise executive management on strategic and operational IT matters
• Maintain overall responsibility for secure and stable IT infrastructure operations
• Oversee operational IT security across the organization
• Develop and monitor the annual IT budget
• Plan and lead IT and digitalization projects
• Organize and implement structured IT support processes

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a seasoned IT leader with the following qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as IT System Specialist, IT Specialist, or comparable qualification such as Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
• Several years of professional experience in IT roles with proven leadership experience
• Advanced knowledge of IT systems and web technologies (required)
• Fluent German language skills (C1 level) and good English proficiency
• Independent, structured working style with strong organizational abilities
