IT Systemadministrator (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an IT System Administrator to join their Internal IT team. In this role, you will take ownership of the stable and secure operation of IT infrastructure in an international environment, collaborating closely with colleagues across departments and contributing actively to strategic IT projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering and developing the Microsoft environment including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure
• Managing endpoint solutions with Intune, Autopilot, and Apple ADE, ensuring endpoint security with Microsoft Defender
• Supporting on-premise infrastructure including Active Directory, Hyper-V, network and WLAN components
• Administering collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and OTRS, including user and permissions management
• Providing IT support to employees, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintaining current IT documentation
• Contributing to IT security, compliance, and automation initiatives while continuously improving existing processes
• Supporting license management and cost-effective use of software solutions
• Working independently on cross-functional IT projects and providing technical guidance to junior team members

What We're Looking For

• Completed IT training or equivalent practical professional experience
• Several years of experience in system administration, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID; Azure experience is a plus
• Knowledge of endpoint management, ideally Intune and Autopilot, as well as endpoint security
• Strong understanding of traditional infrastructure topics such as Active Directory, servers, DNS, networks, and Group Policies
• Experience with IT service and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or comparable ticketing systems
• Ability to analyze technical issues systematically, find independent solutions, and interest in advancing processes through scripting or automation
• German language skills at minimum B2 level and professional working proficiency in English
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and departments
