IT System Administrator (all genders)

We are representing a growing international technology organization headquartered in Munich. Our client is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join their Internal IT team and support the stable, secure operation of their IT infrastructure across multiple countries. This is a permanent position offering hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to work on strategic IT projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop the Microsoft environment, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure
• Manage endpoint administration using Intune, Autopilot, and Apple ADE, ensuring endpoint security with Microsoft Defender
• Oversee on-premise infrastructure including Active Directory, Hyper-V, and network/Wi-Fi components
• Administer collaboration and service management tools including Jira, Confluence, and OTRS, managing user access and permissions
• Provide technical support to employees during onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day IT requests
• Maintain accurate and current IT documentation
• Contribute to IT security, compliance, and automation initiatives
• Support software license management to ensure cost-effective usage
• Lead cross-functional IT projects independently and provide technical mentorship to team members

What We're Looking For

• Completed IT vocational training or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of hands-on system administration experience, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID; Azure experience is a strong plus
• Proven experience with endpoint management tools, ideally Intune and Autopilot, plus endpoint security solutions
• Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: Active Directory, DNS, servers, networks, and Group Policies
• Experience with IT service management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or similar ticketing systems
• Structured problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently and interest in process automation through scripting
• German language skills at minimum B2 level
• Strong English communication skills for daily cross-team collaboration
• Open, collaborative working style across departments and geographies

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Munich market.
