About the Role

Turner Trucking Company operates an express freight service across the western United States, running regular routes to California, Washington, and Oregon. As a solo over-the-road driver, you'll handle dedicated long-haul shipments and return with fresh produce loads. Rather than treating drivers as numbers, we know you by name and value your contributions as a key member of our family business. We're currently offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates, typically earned within approximately 90 days.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks across multiple states on long-haul routes within DOT guidelines
• Load, secure, and deliver express freight and produce shipments with professionalism
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with hours-of-service regulations
• Manage independent route schedules while communicating regularly with dispatch
• Transport time-sensitive freight across the West Coast and return lanes efficiently

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background and medical screening
• Proven experience operating heavy trucks in interstate commerce
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Professional communication and dependable work ethic
