About This Position

Merck is preparing for the potential U.S. launch of a breakthrough oncology therapy that represents a significant advancement in personalized treatment. As Regional Director, you will lead field operations across multiple treatment sites in the East Region, ensuring they are prepared to deliver this complex therapy safely and effectively. This role bridges clinical excellence with operational execution, requiring coordination across organizational partners and direct accountability for site performance and patient readiness.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee site readiness assessment and preparation across the East Region's treatment network
• Establish and implement operational standards for consistent site execution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, supply chain, and patient support to ensure seamless site operations
• Monitor site compliance, performance metrics, and quality indicators
• Lead training and capability-building initiatives for treatment site teams
• Identify operational obstacles and drive collaborative solutions
• Maintain regular communication with site leadership and internal stakeholders
