Position Summary

Join Triage Staffing LLC as a travel CT technician in Portland and deliver diagnostic imaging support to a busy radiology department. This is a contract role lasting seven weeks, ideal for experienced CT techs seeking a temporary assignment in the Pacific Northwest. You'll work full-time day shifts—12-hour rotations, three days per week—giving you schedule flexibility while maintaining substantial weekly income. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Position patients correctly for imaging studies and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed by radiologists and physician protocols
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to patient needs during procedures
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of imaging studies and patient information
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment and report malfunctions promptly

What We're Looking For

• Current CT technician certification (ARRT-CT or equivalent state licensure)
• Minimum one year of recent CT scanning experience in a clinical setting
• Solid knowledge of CT protocols, image acquisition, and radiation safety
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Flexibility to adapt to a new facility's systems and workflows quickly
• Willingness to travel and work a 12-hour day-shift schedule
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
