Workers’ Compensation Specialist

LeafHome is hiring a Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our team in Hudson, Summit County. This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring workplace safety compliance.

Position Summary

As a Workers' Compensation Specialist at LeafHome, you'll manage the complete lifecycle of workers' compensation claims while supporting injured employees through recovery and return-to-work processes. You'll help ensure our organization maintains full compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, contributing to a safe and supportive workplace for our team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Receive, file, and track workers' compensation claims from initial report through resolution
• Communicate with injured employees about claim status, required documentation, and return-to-work options
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and legal representatives as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims and workplace incidents
• Monitor compliance with applicable state and federal workers' compensation regulations
• Support workplace safety initiatives and injury prevention programs
• Manage return-to-work programs and accommodation processes
• Investigate workplace incidents when necessary to identify preventive measures
