About the Role
As a Stairlift Installer with LeafHome, you'll bring safe, reliable stair mobility solutions directly into the homes of seniors and people with mobility challenges. This is hands-on, technical work that makes a real difference in people's daily lives and independence. You'll work full-time managing the complete installation process from initial assessment through customer handoff.
What You'll Do
- Perform on-site evaluations of staircases and residential spaces to determine optimal stairlift placement and configurations
- Install, test, and commission stairlift systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support to ensure reliable operation
- Educate customers on proper use, maintenance, and safety features of their new stairlift
- Complete installation documentation and maintain accurate job records
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment systems quickly
- Physical capability to work on stairs, carry equipment, and perform manual tasks in varied home environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills—you're the face of LeafHome
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Willingness to master safety protocols and industry best practices
