Senior Financial Analyst FP&A

About the Role

As Senior Financial Analyst in our FP&A function, you'll own financial planning, analysis, and reporting that directly influences how LeafHome competes and grows. You'll translate complex financial data into actionable intelligence for leadership, working across operations, sales, and strategy to align our financial roadmap with business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain multi-scenario financial forecasts and long-range plans aligned with company strategy
• Conduct variance analysis on actual performance versus budget and forecast, identifying drivers and recommending corrective actions
• Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives, pricing decisions, and operational investments
• Create dashboards and reporting packages that track key business metrics and KPIs for executive review
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results
• Partner with department heads to understand business needs and translate them into financial requirements
• Support ad-hoc analysis on operational efficiency, customer economics, and strategic opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of financial analysis, planning & analysis, or business finance experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization
• Strong foundation in financial accounting principles and business mathematics
• Ability to distill complex data into clear insights and communicate findings to non-financial audiences
• Experience developing and maintaining financial forecasts or budgets
• Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
