About This Position

As an Experienced Medical Scheduler at Pandya Medical Center, you'll be the organizational backbone of our clinic's daily operations. This full-time role requires expertise in managing complex scheduling systems, patient communication, and clinical workflow coordination in a busy medical environment serving the Gwinnett County area.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across multiple providers and service lines, optimizing clinic flow and minimizing patient wait times
• Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling requests with professionalism and attention to detail
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, confirming patient demographic and billing information prior to visits
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling systems, ensuring data integrity and HIPAA compliance
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage provider schedules, block time for procedures, and accommodate urgent patient needs
• Handle new patient intake processes and address patient inquiries regarding appointments and clinic services
• Monitor waiting lists and proactively contact patients with available appointment slots

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a medical scheduler or similar healthcare administrative role
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical scheduling software
