The Opportunity

Tenet Health is seeking an experienced CT Technician to join our inpatient imaging department in West Side, Worcester County. As a CT Scanner Technician, you'll play a critical role in our diagnostic imaging team, operating state-of-the-art computed tomography equipment and producing the detailed, accurate images physicians rely on for patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative healthcare setting where your technical skills directly impact patient care and outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of patient anatomy
• Prepare and position patients for scanning procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and compliance
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Communicate with radiologists and clinical staff regarding imaging findings and procedural details
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any technical issues promptly
• Assist with contrast administration when required by department protocols
• Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Current CT Technologist certification (AHRA, ARRT, or equivalent state licensure)
• Proven experience operating CT scanners in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety principles
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Flexibility to accommodate inpatient department scheduling needs
