Drug Plastics & Glass Co. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Phoenix, Maricopa County, to maintain and repair our plastic injection molding equipment and facility systems. This is a full-time, hourly role working Monday through Friday, 6am–2:30pm.
Position Summary
As our Maintenance Mechanic in Phoenix, you'll keep critical production equipment running smoothly. You'll handle routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and manage repairs across our plastic injection molding machines, supporting systems, and facility infrastructure. Your work directly supports our manufacturing operations and team safety.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and related production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, and safety equipment
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service history
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What You Bring
- Experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment, injection molding machinery, or facility systems
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment schematics
- Familiarity with electrical systems and pneumatic equipment (a plus)
- Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, work at heights, and lift heavy components
