QC Chemist

What This Role Involves

In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for quality control and analytical testing of chemical products at a semiconductor supply chain manufacturing facility. Your work will involve running precise laboratory tests, analyzing results, and maintaining the rigorous standards our customers in the semiconductor sector demand. You'll collaborate closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our North Kingstown operations.

What You'll Do

• Conduct analytical testing and chemical analysis on manufactured products using laboratory instruments and established protocols
• Perform quality control procedures to verify product specifications and purity levels
• Document test results, maintain accurate records, and prepare quality reports
• Troubleshoot quality issues and support investigation of out-of-specification results
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in accordance with company standards
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Laboratory experience with analytical testing methods and chemical analysis
• Knowledge of quality control principles and testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to operate laboratory instruments and interpret technical data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
