Appointment Scheduler/ Service BDC

York Auto Group seeks a dedicated Appointment Scheduler and Service Business Development Center representative to join our Longstown, York County team in a full-time, on-site position. The Opportunity

This is your chance to become the front-line ambassador for our service department. As our Appointment Scheduler and Service BDC professional, you'll manage customer communications, coordinate service visits, and help grow our client relationships through attentive, professional support. You'll work a consistent 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. schedule, Monday through Saturday, with two Saturdays per month and a corresponding weekday off, giving you predictability in your work-life balance. Your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and service department efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service inquiries and customer calls with professionalism, accuracy, and courtesy
• Schedule and confirm service appointments, managing calendar availability and customer preferences
• Make proactive outbound calls to follow up on service status, confirm upcoming visits, and address customer concerns
• Input and maintain accurate service records and customer information in our system
• Process customer requests and relay information to the service team in a timely manner
• Support customer retention efforts by providing exceptional communication and service coordination

Requirements

• Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in automotive, healthcare, or similar field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and appointment scheduling software (or willingness to learn)
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Professional demeanor and problem-solving mindset
