Position Summary

As Senior Property Manager at Bernstein Management Corporation, you'll bring strategic vision and operational excellence to our Washington, D.C. metropolitan area real estate portfolio. With over seven decades of regional leadership, our firm manages substantial assets through a fully discretionary investment affiliate focused on long-term growth and stability. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape property performance, tenant satisfaction, and asset value across a dynamic portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day operations for an assigned portfolio of properties in the D.C. area
• Oversee tenant relations, lease administration, and vendor coordination to ensure quality service delivery
• Monitor property finances, prepare budgets, control operating expenses, and maximize revenue
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and lease terms
• Prepare regular performance reports and communicate results to ownership and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor junior property team members

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on property management experience, preferably with multi-unit or mixed-use portfolios
• Demonstrated expertise in tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Professional property management certification or relevant credentials preferred
• Knowledge of Washington, D.C. area real estate markets and property regulations
• Leadership capability and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
