The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Development Food Scientist to lead innovation initiatives across our portfolio of sweeteners, coffee products, and beverage enhancers. In this role, you will drive the development of breakthrough formulations that delight consumers while advancing our market leadership. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize food formulations that meet consumer preferences, nutritional targets, and regulatory standards
• Conduct comprehensive sensory evaluation and technical testing to assess product performance and shelf stability
• Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to translate innovation concepts into scalable, cost-effective products
• Lead quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Manage product development projects from conception through commercialization, driving timelines and deliverables
• Identify emerging consumer trends and ingredient innovations to inform strategic R&D priorities

Who We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of product development experience in the food and beverage industry, with demonstrated success leading formulation projects
• Strong technical knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and processing methods
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts to non-scientific stakeholders
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (FDA compliance, labeling requirements) and quality management systems
• Problem-solving mindset and track record of delivering innovation on schedule and within budget
