About This Position

This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of individuals who have experienced trafficking. Working with the International Rescue Committee's anti-trafficking team in Tucson, you'll provide compassionate, trauma-informed case management services to survivors seeking safety, stability, and self-sufficiency. You'll serve as a trusted advocate and resource navigator, connecting clients with essential services while respecting their autonomy and cultural backgrounds.

Core Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop individualized service plans for survivors
  • Coordinate access to housing, medical care, legal assistance, and employment services
  • Provide crisis support and safety planning for clients at risk
  • Maintain detailed case documentation and track client progress toward independence goals
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, law enforcement, and service providers
  • Advocate for client rights within social service and legal systems
  • Provide cultural and linguistically appropriate support to diverse populations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations and trauma survivors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with genuine commitment to serving others
  • Knowledge of human trafficking, exploitation, or related social service issues
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and connect clients with resources
  • Cultural competency and respect for client autonomy and self-determination
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage a demanding caseload
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within Tucson, Pima County
