Project Controls Specialist – Michels Power, Inc.

Michels Power, Inc. is hiring a Project Controls Specialist in Neenah, Wisconsin to support the planning and execution of critical power infrastructure projects. This full-time position is based on-site in Winnebago County and offers the opportunity to work with one of North America's premier power delivery contractors strengthening the nation's electrical grid.

About the Role

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will ensure that complex power delivery and electrical infrastructure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. You will partner with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to monitor progress, forecast outcomes, identify risks early, and maintain the documentation and records essential to project success.

What You'll Do

• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and timelines to support on-time completion
• Track project budgets and costs, preparing forecasts and variance reports
• Maintain project documentation, compliance records, and historical files
• Report project status to management and coordinate communication with team members
• Flag scheduling and budget risks and support development of corrective actions
• Support project closeout procedures and lessons-learned documentation

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
• Background in construction, power delivery, utilities, or related infrastructure fields
