Position Summary

As Clinical Manager for MUSC Community Physicians, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a physician practice office or multi-office setting, ensuring seamless patient care delivery and efficient administrative workflows. This full-time role bridges clinical excellence and business operations, positioning you to make a direct impact on healthcare access in rural South Carolina communities. You'll manage scheduling, staffing, compliance, and patient experience—all while supporting our physicians in delivering quality care to underserved populations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Manage patient flow, appointment scheduling, and clinical workflows to optimize practice efficiency
  • Oversee financial operations, including billing, collections, and budget adherence at the practice level
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and MUSC policies
  • Coordinate with physicians to identify operational improvements and implement solutions
  • Monitor quality metrics and patient satisfaction to maintain high standards of care
  • Manage medical supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships
