About the Role
We're hiring a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation and upkeep of our Cincinnati downtown properties and facilities. You'll perform essential maintenance work including system inspections, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance across our managed spaces, contributing directly to safe and functional environments for our residents, guests, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs promptly and effectively
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely manner
- Document and track all maintenance activities and work orders
- Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized or complex repairs
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance position
- Practical knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical systems
- Skilled use of hand and power tools with strong attention to safety
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Physical capability to perform maintenance duties, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather and environmental conditions
