What This Role Involves

As a Class A truck driver with Hogan Transportation, you'll operate commercial vehicles on regional and dedicated routes throughout our service area. This position is ideal for new graduates who are eager to build real-world experience while contributing to our logistics operation. You'll maintain professional standards in every shift, manage your vehicle responsibly, and work collaboratively with our dispatch team to keep shipments moving on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck safely across assigned regional and dedicated routes
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
• Properly secure and transport freight cargo according to company and federal guidelines
• Maintain accurate logbooks and utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) for compliance
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or vehicle maintenance needs
• Adhere strictly to Department of Transportation safety standards and company policies
• Document deliveries and keep records organized for tracking purposes
