Senior Property Manager

Are you ready to lead property operations for a dynamic real estate portfolio? YMP Real Estate Management is hiring a Senior Property Manager to manage residential and commercial communities in Temple Terrace, Hillsborough County. In this full-time role, you'll serve as the business manager for your assigned properties, overseeing all aspects of daily operations and driving sustainable growth.

Role Overview

Reporting to a Regional Manager, you'll be the key leader responsible for the successful operation of your assigned residential and commercial properties. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, requiring you to balance financial performance, tenant satisfaction, and property maintenance. You'll manage teams, coordinate vendors, and represent YMP Real Estate Management within the Temple Terrace community while maintaining operational excellence across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all leasing operations, from marketing and showings to lease execution and renewal management
• Build and maintain positive tenant relationships, addressing concerns and resolving disputes professionally
• Oversee property maintenance and coordinate preventive care to ensure property standards are met
• Develop and manage annual budgets, control expenses, and monitor financial performance
• Manage rent collection processes and follow up on delinquencies
• Plan and oversee renovation and construction projects to enhance property value
• Monitor market trends and recommend strategies to optimize occupancy and rental rates
• Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing residential and/or commercial properties
• Strong financial management skills and experience with budgeting and expense control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for tenant and vendor relationships
• Leadership experience and ability to manage and motivate teams
• Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Understanding of real estate law, fair housing practices, and local regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or real estate preferred
