Kitchen Leader

We're hiring a Kitchen Leader for a full-time position at our Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant located in White House, Robertson County. This is your opportunity to lead a skilled kitchen team in a fast-paced environment where quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction are paramount.

What This Role Involves

As a Kitchen Leader, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operation—managing food preparation, ensuring every order meets Chipotle's standards, and maintaining the energy and focus of your team. You'll oversee the line, coordinate with other team members, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality in everything that goes into our customers' bowls and burritos. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll work alongside your team during shifts, making real-time decisions that impact both the customer experience and team morale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment
• Maintain strict food safety, preparation, and presentation standards in line with Chipotle's quality benchmarks
• Train team members on proper cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service standards
• Manage inventory, monitor food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining portion accuracy
• Respond to customer feedback and resolve food quality concerns promptly and professionally
• Support restaurant opening and closing procedures, including equipment maintenance and sanitation
• Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate with shift leads and management to drive restaurant success

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a kitchen leadership or senior cooking role at a high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety protocols (ServSafe or equivalent preferred)
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality in every aspect of the job
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Passion for Chipotle's mission and values around food quality and restaurant excellence
