Marigold Health is hiring a Certified Peer: Community Outreach Specialist to join our team in Kent County, Delaware. This is a full-time, in-person role focused on growing our peer recovery community and connecting individuals with mental health and substance use support.

About This Position

As our Community Outreach Specialist, you'll be the face of Marigold Health in Kent County, actively engaging residents and building bridges to recovery. Your mission is to identify and enroll individuals who could benefit from peer-led support, working directly with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and leaders to expand program awareness. You'll combine direct relationship-building with modern outreach methods to reach those seeking recovery care.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach visits to healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations throughout Kent County
• Represent Marigold Health at community events, resource fairs, and recovery-focused gatherings
• Guide prospective members through enrollment in our peer support platform
• Execute phone and SMS marketing campaigns to reach potential members
• Develop partnerships with local providers and community leaders to increase program visibility
• Track outreach activities and enrollment metrics
• Share your own recovery journey to build trust and demonstrate the power of peer support

Who We're Looking For

• Certified Peer Specialist (or ability to obtain certification)
• Personal lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
• Outgoing personality with genuine passion for supporting others in recovery
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Comfort with direct community engagement and public-facing conversations
• Reliable transportation for visits across Kent County
• Organized approach to tracking and reporting outreach activities
• Commitment to peer support principles and member confidentiality
