About the Role

As a full-time Produce Clerk, you'll be the backbone of our produce section, ensuring customers find the freshest fruits and vegetables while working closely with the department manager to drive sales and maintain operational excellence. Your work directly impacts how our community shops for groceries and dines at home.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, answering questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Receive, stock, and merchandise fresh produce throughout the department with attention to quality and presentation
• Inspect produce for quality, freshness, and food safety compliance, removing items that don't meet our standards
• Keep the produce section, coolers, and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company and food safety regulations
• Support the department manager in meeting sales targets and profit goals through effective merchandising and customer engagement
• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle customer transactions accurately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding customer experiences
