Join UCHealth as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Larimer County. This is a full-time night shift nursing position where you'll deliver critical emergency care and earn enhanced compensation through our Night Shift Incentive Program.
About the Role
We're seeking an RN to provide direct patient care, clinical assessment, and emergency nursing services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You'll work a full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period on night shifts, supporting our commitment to exceptional emergency medicine and trauma care in Loveland and the surrounding Larimer County region.
What You'll Do
- Perform rapid patient assessment and triage in the emergency setting
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, identifying acute changes requiring immediate intervention
- Administer medications and treatments under physician direction
- Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic health record system
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide clear communication and education to patients and families during emergencies
- Support high-volume patient throughput while maintaining quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Current, active RN license in Colorado
- Experience in emergency nursing, critical care, or acute hospital settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional nursing standards
Compensation & Schedule
Compensation ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour, based on your relevant experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, onsite night shift position with no remote or hybrid work options. UCHealth's Night Shift Incentive Program recognizes the value of our nursing staff who provide overnight coverage and emergency care.
