Occupational Therapist Outpatient

About the Role

We're seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care in our outpatient clinic setting at UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora. You'll work with a diverse patient population, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address functional limitations and promote return to meaningful activities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning
• Develop and execute personalized therapy plans focused on functional mobility, self-care skills, and work or leisure activities
• Utilize therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to support patient progress toward rehabilitation goals
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust interventions based on ongoing clinical assessment
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and progress in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and home exercise programs

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Current Colorado state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination
• Clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth
