ProCare Therapy is hiring a Full-Time Special Education Teacher in Eden, North Carolina, to lead instruction and support for students across the spectrum of special education needs. About the Role

In this full-time position based in Eden, St. Clair County, you'll be at the center of individualized learning plans, working one-on-one and in small groups to address each student's unique academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals. You'll partner with the broader school community to ensure continuity of care and measurable progress for every learner you serve.

What You'll Do

• Craft and implement customized IEPs that reflect each student's present level of performance, annual goals, and support needs
• Deliver direct, differentiated instruction in literacy, numeracy, self-advocacy, and social skills
• Apply research-backed interventions and adaptive technology to remove barriers to learning
• Collect and analyze student performance data to inform instructional adjustments and celebrate progress
• Communicate regularly with families, general educators, counselors, and specialists to coordinate support
• Maintain IEP documentation and special education records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Attend and contribute meaningfully to IEP meetings and eligibility reviews
• Cultivate a classroom culture of belonging, respect, and high expectations for all students

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Current, valid Special Education Teacher license
• At least 1 year of documented experience teaching in a special education role
• Solid understanding of IDEA, Section 504, IEP development, and special education best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities
• Genuine commitment to students with disabilities and learning differences
• Resourcefulness, flexibility, and a growth mindset when facing instructional challenges
