Maintenance Personnel

Life Inc is hiring a Maintenance Personnel to join our Edenton, Chowan County location. In this full-time position, you'll keep our facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained while supporting the individuals and families we serve across eastern North Carolina.

About the Role

This full-time maintenance position is essential to our operations. You'll be responsible for the upkeep of our buildings, systems, and equipment across our service areas in eastern North Carolina. Your work directly impacts the safety and comfort of the individuals in our care.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Execute repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting work
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety codes and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting systems
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and functional facilities
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
