About the Role

As a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Headway, you'll practice psychiatry remotely while maintaining complete autonomy over your patient load and schedule. Earn up to $196.58/hour with the flexibility to build your practice to match your goals—whether that means establishing a full-time caseload, seeing patients part-time while maintaining other work, or anywhere in between. Headway manages the backend complexity, allowing you to eliminate administrative burden and concentrate on what you do best: psychiatric treatment and patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications with ongoing monitoring
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical presentation
• Document clinical encounters and maintain complete patient records
• Collaborate with other providers when appropriate
• Navigate insurance authorization and billing through Headway's platform

What We're Looking For

• Current, active licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in California
• Established experience in psychiatric or mental health clinical practice
• Proven skills in psychiatric diagnosis, assessment, and medication management
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment
• Dedication to evidence-based mental health treatment
• Professional clinical documentation and communication practices
