Position Summary

This full-time clinical role positions you as a California-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to conduct individual, couples, and family therapy using the Headway platform. You'll help clients navigate relationship dynamics, communication challenges, and family systems issues while building a sustainable, insurance-accepting practice.

Core Duties

• Provide clinical therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical best practices
• Maintain comprehensive, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
• Coordinate with insurance providers for coverage verification and claim processing
• Monitor client progress and adapt therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary to ensure comprehensive care
• Engage in clinical supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development

Skills & Qualifications

• Active California Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) in good standing
• Demonstrated experience conducting therapy with individuals, couples, and/or families
• Competency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, EFT, family systems, or similar modalities)
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
• Commitment to cultural humility and client-centered, trauma-informed care
• Working knowledge of insurance processes, verification, and billing requirements
