Senior Manager, Global Investigations

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Investigations to lead our investigative operations in Bentonville, Benton County. In this full-time role, you'll direct complex investigations across our business segments, strengthen risk management frameworks, and ensure our organization maintains the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

About the Role

As Senior Manager, Global Investigations, you'll take ownership of our investigative function, managing cases that span fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. You'll partner with legal, compliance, and business leadership to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and safeguard Walmart's operations. Your team will handle sensitive matters with discretion while maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.

What You'll Do

• Oversee a portfolio of investigations involving internal fraud, external threats, and compliance violations
• Lead investigative teams through complex cases requiring coordination across multiple business units
• Establish investigation protocols, standards, and best practices aligned with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal partners including Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Regional Security to address systemic risks
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and present findings to executive leadership
• Mentor and develop investigation staff, building capability and expertise across the function
• Stay current on fraud trends, emerging risks, and investigative best practices in the retail sector

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of investigations experience, including time in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of fraud investigation, compliance, and loss prevention
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior audiences
• Experience with investigative tools, case management systems, and data analysis
• Understanding of retail operations and the unique risks in the retail environment
• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in sensitive matters
