As a GE Service Engineer at Cardiac Imaging, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cardiac PET imaging systems. You'll play a critical part in keeping advanced cardiac diagnostic technology operational so healthcare providers can serve their patients effectively.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and commission GE cardiac imaging equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on imaging systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with PET and other cardiac imaging equipment
- Provide technical support and training to imaging center staff and healthcare professionals
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance in service records
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards, regulatory compliance, and manufacturer specifications
- Respond to service calls and emergency equipment repairs in a timely manner
What We're Looking For
- Technical certification or degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Experience servicing medical imaging equipment or similar complex instrumentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with technical documentation and schematics
- Customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites
