DCH Health Care Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Radiology to join our Tuscaloosa, Alabama medical center as a full-time team member. About the Role

As a Radiology RN at DCH Health Care Authority in Tuscaloosa, you'll manage essential imaging support duties, collaborate with radiologists and technologists, and ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care throughout their diagnostic procedures. This role emphasizes both direct patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork to deliver excellence in our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct patient care activities, maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing practice
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, communicating clearly throughout their imaging experience
• Supervise and mentor nursing team members, modeling best practices and supporting professional development
• Monitor patient safety and comfort, responding promptly to clinical needs and concerns
• Collaborate with imaging specialists to optimize workflow and ensure procedural excellence
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately per departmental protocols

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Alabama
• Experience in acute care or specialized clinical environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Flexibility and reliability in a dynamic healthcare setting
