Litigation Paralegal

Jackson Lewis is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our Houston office and support our employment and labor law practice. This is a full-time, in-office position in Harris County serving clients across the Southwest region.

About the Role

As a Litigation Paralegal at Jackson Lewis, you'll be at the center of our employment law practice, working alongside experienced attorneys to manage complex litigation matters from intake through resolution. Since 1958, Jackson Lewis has served as trusted counsel to employers nationwide, and this role is essential to delivering that standard of service.

What You'll Do

• Prepare litigation documents, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses under attorney supervision
• Manage case files, deadlines, and court filings with precision and compliance
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation to support case strategy
• Organize and analyze discovery materials, including electronic documents and depositions
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and client communications
• Maintain organized case timelines and track ongoing litigation matters
• Support multiple attorneys and cases simultaneously in a collaborative environment

What We're Looking For

• Paralegal certification or equivalent education and experience in civil litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and standard office software
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced practice
• Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
• Professional demeanor and collaborative approach to teamwork
• Experience in employment law litigation is a plus
