Ready Mix Driver, Nedrow, NY – Class A/B

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a full-time Ready Mix Driver in Bouckville, Madison County, New York. This is a Class A or B commercial driver position delivering ready-mixed concrete to construction sites throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Ready Mix Driver, you'll operate company concrete trucks, transporting loads of ready-mixed concrete to job sites while maintaining the quality and integrity of each delivery. You'll work directly with construction teams, contractors, and dispatchers to ensure timely, professional service. This position requires safe driving practices, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company ready-mix concrete trucks safely and professionally
• Transport ready-mixed concrete to construction sites and deliver loads on schedule
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and job site supervisors to coordinate deliveries
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic and commercial driving regulations
• Load and unload concrete while following safety protocols and best practices
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Who We're Looking For

• Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Proven experience driving commercial trucks or ready-mix concrete vehicles
• Clean driving record and good safety history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early starts
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
• Willingness to follow safety regulations and company policies
