Merchandise Manager

Position Summary

As a Merchandise Manager at Five Below, you'll lead all aspects of store merchandising and inventory management. You'll work directly with store leadership to execute visual displays, optimize product placement, and ensure our shelves reflect the latest trends and seasonal offerings that make Five Below the ultimate shopping destination. Your role is essential to driving sales, maintaining store standards, and delivering the fun, exciting retail environment our customers expect.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee merchandise displays and floor sets that attract customers and maximize product visibility
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and coordinate with distribution to ensure product availability
• Work with the store team to unload and process shipments efficiently and accurately
• Analyze sales data and customer trends to recommend merchandising adjustments and product rotation
• Maintain compliance with company merchandising standards, loss prevention policies, and safety protocols
• Train and supervise merchandising team members to ensure consistent execution of displays and inventory practices
• Collaborate with store management on promotional events, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail merchandising or inventory management experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with retail systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods during shifts
• Keen eye for visual design and merchandising trends
• High school diploma or equivalent required
